Course Overview
This one-day Look & Learn Workshop offers an introduction into two essential areas of hairdressing: haircutting and colorimetry. Divided into two dynamic sessions, the class will first focus on the foundational principles of PivotPoint haircutting techniques and then delve into the chemistry of hair color with TRUSS Colors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both fields.
Session 1: Introduction to PivotPoint Haircutting Techniques
In the first half, we will explore the PivotPoint technique of haircutting, which forms the cornerstone of many iconic and stylish haircuts in the industry today. Look and learn the 4 basic haircutting shapes, giving you a solid foundation for all your future work. These shapes serve as the blueprint for creating precise, clean cuts with a natural flow.
Session 2: Colorimetry with TRUSS Colors
The second half of the masterclass will focus on Colorimetry—understanding the science behind hair color and learning how to achieve consistent and successful results. Using TRUSS colors, we will examine hair color theory, dive deep into hair structure, and explore how hair’s natural texture influences color outcomes. You’ll gain the expertise to make informed decisions, ensuring vibrant, consistent results every time.
Upon completion, you’ll receive the certificate of participation from PivotPoint US and pH7 academy.
Tools & Requirement:
As this workshop is theory-based with no hands-on training, all you’ll need is a notebook and pen to take notes and capture the valuable techniques and insights shared throughout the day. Come with an open mind, ready to absorb new methods and concepts that will help enhance your haircutting skills and creativity.
